There are no extra fees charged to the client for these indirect services:
Driving to the client's location
Planning goals and designing individualized musical experiences
Documenting progress
Using musical equipment during sessions
Consulting with members of the care team
Therapist's required fees for state license and national board certification, including required continuing education
Taxes and Insurance
Electronic Health Record and communication platforms where all private client data is stored and payments are processed confidentially
Cost of materials and equipment needed while working with clients
Most Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and healthcare Trust Funds allow funds to be used for Music Therapy Services. Contact your account administrators for specifics on which services are reimbursable.
Private and Public Health Insurance does not currently reimburse music therapy; although, this may become available in the future.
Proof of payment is provided to clients and special billing statements can be created if clients choose to submit to a third party for reimbursement.
Payment is expected at time of service. We accept check or credit card.
Client's are encouraged to maintain an account using our client portal through JaneApp.
Individual (1:1) session in the client's home - 45 minutes - $97.50
Formal written assessment report (if requested) - $75.00
Clinical supervision session for music therapists (50 minutes phone or virtual) - $60.00
Negotiated rates for the following services:
Facility Contract - clinical music therapy groups
Classes or workshops (non-clinical)
Professional presentations or public speaking
